The SGX Beijing Representative Office represents a further expansion of SGX’s Asian gateway strategy to develop a platform for Asian centric companies seeking overseas capital raising. SGX also provides a center for investors to meet investment and risk diversification needs in the Asian time zone.

The role of the representative office is to increase the profile of SGX and foster closer working relationships with key stakeholders, including relevant Chinese authorities and SGX-listed companies. It will strengthen SGX’s listings collaborations with China’s provincial and municipal governments. The office also provides ground support to IPO professionals and SGX-listed companies.
